IoT meets AI in Gothenburg

The IoT solution architect of Novarto, Daniel Rusev, was nominated a speaker of the Swedish SAP user group (SAPSA) annual gathering in Gothenburg. IoT meets AI was the topic of his presentation that attracted many curious attendees.

Daniel introduced to the Swedish business audience IoT technologies of the future that can be applied for more effective and ecological agriculture. Optimization of irrigation and pest control, recognition of plant diseases, monitoring the water quality in fish farms are only some of the application areas for IoT services, presented by him.

The live demo he performed was the culmination of the afternoon: he showed a video stream analysis in real time only using the camera of a mobile phone. As a result, an intelligent service sends out notifications upon predefined events. This IoT with AI scenario can find multiple business usages.
